Scheduling Appointments
To schedule please call our office during our regular office hours at (925)462-0010. We will be happy to assist you in finding an appointment that fits your needs.
We make every effort to stay on schedule and ask patients to be on time as well. Since appointment times are reserved exclusively for each patient, we ask that in the event you are unable to keep your appointment, please notify our office at least two business days in advance of your scheduled appointment time. Last minute cancellations may prevent other patients from receiving dental treatment and may incur a missed appointment fee.
Financial Policy and Privacy Policy
We appreciate payment for services on the day they are provided. If you have financial conditions that prevent you from keeping your account current, we will be happy to discuss our financial options with you.
We accept cash, checks, VISA, Master Card, Discover and most dental insurance plans. Our expert business staff will assist you in recovering your dental benefits from the insurance company, so bring your insurance information with you. Please be prepared to pay your deductible or co-payments at the time of service.
You are responsible for knowing if you or your dependents are eligible for insurance benefits when dental treatment is performed. We suggest that you check directly with your insurance carrier if you have questions or concerns about your coverage, remaining dental benefits, exclusions, or limitations prior to proceeding with recommended treatment.
Insurance benefits can vary within the same insurance company and within the same family. For example, Delta Dental has an incentive plan for the Pleasanton Unified School District where coverage begins at 70%. If you continue to regularly visit the dentist, the percentage will increase at 10% intervals annually until you reach 100%. Different family members can all have the same plan, but be covered at different percentages depending on when they enter the plan and how frequently they use it; Dad 100%, Mom 90%, 3 year old child 70%, 10 year old child 90%.
We take the privacy of your health information very seriously. Consumer information will not be sold or shared with third parties for marketing purposes.
Appointment Reminders
We have an appointment reminder system in place utilizing your email and cell phone text capabilities.
If we have your email address on file, you will be sent a reminder 30 days prior, and again 4 days prior to your scheduled appointment. Please open your email and select the confirm button to electronically confirm your appointment. If you confirm in this manner, you will not receive a call before your appointment.
If we have your cell phone number, you will receive a text message 1 day prior to your appointment time. This, however, does not give you the opportunity to confirm your appointment. We would appreciate it if you would call to confirm. You may opt out of this system if you do not want to receive text message reminders. In that case, you will receive a phone call the day prior to your appointment.
Please know that we schedule our appointments very carefully to assure all of our patients are seen promptly and sufficient time is alloted for every procedure. If you are unable to keep you appointment, please notify us two business days in advance.
If neither of these options work for you, we will call you a day in advance of your appointment to confirm. Thank you for your cooperation.
